Sawyer is a very handsome, unique looking dog. He is also intelligent and friendly. He has been rescued from a rural shelter in GA and brought to the DC area in search of a loving responsible home. He has medium energy and enjoys long walks and also snuggling sessions. Sawyer is great with most other dogs; however, he can be reactive with some other dominant males. Sawyer would really benefit from doggie training classes, he is a very smart boy who would LOVE to do something to run his mind. Your new pet may require a refresher in house-training but is likely crate-trained. K-9 Lifesavers recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and new owner.
