We pulled her from that nasty shelter and soon discovered that Shelly was newly pregnant with 10 tiny babies. Shelly and her little ones have been tucked into a warm, loving foster home for some time but are all ready to find forever homes of their very own. Shelly has an amazing disposition and happy, playful attitude. We feel Shelly had a family because she knows some basic commands, is well behaved and is well socialized. She gets along perfectly with everyone and loves to follow her foster Mommy around as she does her daily chores. She's been a great Mom to her pups but is ready for her time to shine! Shelly is a great girl, could she be the one for you? Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery, rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention, monthly flea/tick prevention, and our transport costs.
